Seven mechanical steps

How Engine Works

Follow the complete path from minting a Machine with $WORKS to an eight hour epoch distribution.

From ownership to output

Seven steps

  1. 01
    MINT A MACHINE WITH $WORKS

Machines are minted on a rising curve and paid for in $WORKS. Every token paid reaches the Works Pot.

  2. 02
    POWER IT WITH $WORKS

Use a Machine action to burn $WORKS against that specific Machine. The burn is what creates weight.

  3. 03
    BUILD WEIGHT

The Machine's weight becomes its relative participation in an epoch.

  4. 04
    FEES ENTER THE STOCK POT

Protocol activity supplies the capital used for tokenized-stock purchases.

  5. 05
    BUY TOKENIZED STOCKS

The Stock Pot converts purchasing capacity into eligible tokenized stocks.

  6. 06
    THE 8H EPOCH SETTLES

The cycle closes and active weight is accounted for. Half the Works Pot is burned; the rest joins the purchased stocks as epoch output.

  7. 07
    ACTIVE MACHINES RECEIVE THEIR SHARE

Each active Machine receives the fraction determined by its weight relative to total active weight, in both tokenized stocks and $WORKS.

Machine side / capital side

One causal loop

Burning $WORKS, minting a Machine, and collecting fees are three separate inputs. A burn changes Machine participation. A mint fills the Works Pot. Fees create purchasing capacity. Settlement joins them by applying each active Machine’s share to the epoch output.

Weight determines how an epoch is divided. Protocol fees determine what the Stock Pot can purchase. Mint proceeds determine what the Works Pot burns and distributes.

What the interface shows

The interface separates ownership, weight, production, reserves, distributions, and events into focused modules. Read-only surfaces remain useful without a connected wallet. Ownership-dependent actions use the connected wallet when their verified onchain paths are active.
